90-Day Retail Prescription Benefit Program

This program offers members with drug coverage the convenience of receiving up to a 90-day supply of their maintenance medications at select local participating pharmacies! For example, instead of going to the pharmacy every month, you can go once every 3 months and pay $15 for a 90-day supply of generic maintenance medication.

For more information, please view the 31-90 Day Pharmacy Network and Co-Payment and Coverage Schedule.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program has one primary goal – to help employees live healthier, more fulfilling lives. This program offers free consultations with licensed counselors for employees. Employer-group and therapeutic-group sessions are also available.

For more information, please view the EAP Program Brochure.

Flu Prevention Program

HMAA members can receive free flu vaccinations each year during the flu season (approximately September through January) at selected pharmacy locations throughout the State or conveniently through their employers at specially arranged on-site clinics. Participants are required to present their HMAA ID card and a photo ID.

Utilization Review and Recommendations

HMAA has a unique report that is available to groups with 100 or more employees. This report provides specific benefit utilization and claims information so that you can better understand the cost of your plan operation. More importantly perhaps, it also provides clinical information regarding Acute, Chronic, and Emerging health conditions where intervention may be appropriate (while protecting personal health information). This data helps to inform employers with respect to rate adjustments and how we may assist with Wellness Programs.
