For 35 years, HMAA has been proud to serve Hawaii’s businesses as a kama‘aina company rooted in local values and tradition. We are thrilled to introduce our refreshed brand identity that honors our heritage while reflecting our growth and embracing the future.
HMAA’s new green and blue logo keeps our signature Hawaiian quilt-inspired icon, a symbol of tradition and values that are passed down from generation to generation. It also symbolizes Hawaii’s unique landscape – from mauka to makai.
This rebrand reflects our legacy and commitment to Hawaii’s business community, while looking forward to the future. We’ve served businesses for generations, and our dedication continues to evolve. We understand managing a company is challenging enough, and that’s why we strive to be the reliable partner employers can count on to help protect the well-being of their employees and families.
“In a time when consolidation and technology are changing the insurance market and healthcare environment,” HMAA’s President and CEO William C. McCorriston said, “we take pride in preserving the aloha spirit within our `ohana to ensure the people of Hawaii feel supported.”
What You Can Expect
These changes won’t impact the service and care HMAA provides to our clients, brokers, providers, and customers. Members can rest assured that the way they access and take advantage of their health insurance benefits will remain the same. As part of our rebrand, HMAA’s new look will begin to appear at events, on our website, and in communications.
Growth, Legacy, and Commitment to Hawaii’s Businesses
To better serve business owners and their employees, HMAA has formed exclusive partnerships with Hawaii’s leading industry associations to provide competitive pricing tailored for small businesses. We continue to offer personal customer service, the richest PPO medical and dental plan benefits in the local market, a pioneering focus on wellness and prevention, and an extensive network of providers comparable to the state’s largest insurance carriers.
As companies navigate today’s challenges, HMAA is steadfast in our commitment to providing Hawaii’s businesses and their employees and families with quality, affordable health insurance benefits for traditional and alternative medical services. Since our inception in 1989 by the late Arnold Baptiste, Sr., of Kauai, HMAA has fostered lasting relationships with employers in the island community, many of whom have partnered with us for decades. This speaks volume about the trust HMAA has earned throughout the state.
