Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program has one primary goal – to help employees live healthier, more fulfilling lives and strengthen the health and productivity of employees in the workplace. It is designed to assist employees with personal or family problems (e.g. substance abuse, parenting problems, or financial pressures) and work-related issues (e.g. problems interacting with co-workers). Our medical plans provide up to 6 fully-covered visits per calendar year for an employee. Services available include:

  • EAP orientations to learn more about the program and its accessibility;
  • Employee counseling with trained professionals;
  • Supervisor consultations to discuss options for addressing any productivity issues of the employee in the workplace; and
  • Group educational or counseling sessions to companies or employees teams regarding workplace violence, illnesses, transitions, or performance issues.
